The Good Line - Orsi Vineyard, Santa Rosa Plains, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2023

$44.00

James Maclan shares the unique expression of Pinot Noir from vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley. This sustainably grown Pinot Noir was hand leafed and hand harvested to preserve the delicate profile of the fruit. This lower alcohol wine was partially whole cluster fermented, aided by indigenous yeasts, to bring authentic flavors of the vineyard to your glass.

Maclan selected Orsi Vineyard for this Pinot Noir to showcase the loamy plains of the Russian River Valley. The deep loamy soils and consistent early morning fog shape the wine towards lighter red fruits. The fruit is exclusively Clone 115 and was aged 10 months in 50 percent new and 50 percent neutral French oak. The wine has aromas of hibiscus, floral blossom, herbs, and vanilla.
